Inventory Supervisor

The Medical City Ortigas is searching for an experienced Assistant Manager - Inventory Management to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role is responsible for day-to-day control, monitoring, and optimization of medical and non-medical inventory in the hospital. The role also ensures uninterrupted availability of critical supplies, minimizes expiry and wastage, and supports compliance with hospital quality and safety standards.

What's The Role All About

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Managing and recommend improvements to the delivery part of the organization's inventory control program to identify any issues and solve problems.

- Achieve specific goals for an area of responsibility by working within, or finding ways to improve an established supplier management plan

- Manage the transportation and distribution of goods and supplies for a medium-sized organization, using existing procedures; review and recommend improvements to procedures to ensure on-time delivery of goods and supplies

- Managing and maintaining optimal inventory levels of drugs, consumables, and general supplies to prevent stock-outs, overstocking, and expiry losses

- Oversee batch tracking, expiry monitoring, recall management, and identification of slow-moving, non-moving, and near-expiry items, with recommendations for redistribution or vendor returns

- Ensure compliance with standards on receiving, storage, issuing, returns, FIFO/FEFO, Bin location management, 5S, Cold-chain, Infection control, and biomedical waste handling

Ideally, a candidate must be a graduate of any 4-year bachelor's degree in Business, or other related courses, with at least 3 - 5 years of working experience working experience in healthcare organizational management
