Designation: Inventory Planning Officer

Position description: The Inventory Planning Officer is responsible for overseeing vehicle inventory to ensure optimal stock levels that support sales demand targets and customer demand. The role involves coordinating vehicle ordering, allocation and payment processes while maintaining accurate inventory records and minimizing stock-related costs. The position plays a critical role in balancing availability and operational efficiency within business units.

Required Abilities

  • Physical: Must be able to perform extended computer-based work and analyze detailed data with a high degree of accuracy. Must be able to move within office, warehouse, and stockyard environments to conduct inventory verification and operational inspections. Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Must be able to travel to company facilities, branches, or dealerships as business needs require.

Work Environment Details: Primarily works in an office environment with frequent use of computers and inventory management systems. The role requires regular coordination with various business units and occasional travel to warehouses, stockyards, dealerships, and other company locations for inventory inspections, audits and operational support. The position may involve working under tight deadlines, especially during inventory reconciliation, reporting periods, and business peak seasons. Overtime and fieldwork may be required to support operational requirements.
