ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Inventory Finance Manager, you will lead the financial and inventory management of our commissary and restaurant operations. You will ensure accurate inventory valuation, product costing, financial reporting, and cost controls while partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to improve profitability and strengthen inventory governance across the business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the financial management of commissary and restaurant inventory, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
- Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, cycle counts, stock adjustments, and month-end inventory closing.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory transactions, product costing, and standard costing across all commissary and store operations.
- Monitor inventory movements, usage, shrinkage, wastage, and slow-moving items, providing recommendations to improve inventory health.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, and Operations to strengthen inventory controls and optimize working capital.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for commissary and inventory-related operations.
- Analyze manufacturing and operational costs, inventory variances, labor, overhead, and production efficiencies.
- Lead financial analysis on inventory trends, gross margins, cost-saving initiatives, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls over inventory and fixed assets.
- Lead month-end financial closing activities related to inventory, costing, and commissary operations.
- Evaluate the financial impact of new products, menu launches, process improvements, and capital investments.
- Champion the effective use of SAP Business One, ensuring accurate inventory and financial transactions while continuously improving business processes.
- Lead and develop the Finance and Inventory Accounting team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Management Accounting
- At least 8 years of experience in Finance, Inventory Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Manufacturing Finance, with 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong expertise in inventory accounting, inventory reconciliation, inventory valuation, standard costing, financial reporting, and operational finance.
- Proven experience handling high-volume inventories in food manufacturing, commissaries, restaurant groups, FMCG, or retail.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business One or similar ERP systems, particularly in finance and inventory modules.
- Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to partner effectively across Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
