Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Controller – SAP/ERP to oversee inventory accuracy, transaction integrity, and inventory governance across warehouses, commissaries, and retail operations. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory movements within SAP/ERP, conducting inventory reconciliations, supporting physical inventory activities, and strengthening inventory controls through process compliance and system discipline.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in inventory control using SAP or other ERP systems, with a background in FMCG, food manufacturing, retail, restaurant, or distribution environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory transactions including receiving, transfers, production issuances, adjustments, returns, and disposals within SAP/ERP.
  • Ensure timely and accurate inventory postings while maintaining data integrity across all inventory locations.
  • Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate inventory variances, stock discrepancies, and transaction errors.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, annual, and cycle count activities, ensuring compliance with inventory procedures.
  • Analyze inventory shrinkage, spoilage, wastage, and operational losses, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory handling standards such as FIFO and FEFO.
  • Prepare inventory reconciliation reports, variance analyses, and inventory performance reports.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Commissary, Procurement, Finance, and IT to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes through automation, SAP enhancements, and process standardization.
  • Conduct warehouse and store visits to validate inventory controls and operational compliance.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements related to inventory documentation and inventory controls.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, inventory reconciliation, warehouse operations, or inventory audit.
  • Hands-on experience using SAP ERP (SAP Business One is an advantage) or other ERP inventory systems.
  • Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation, stock movement controls, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
  • Experience supporting physical inventory counts and cycle count activities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to travel to warehouses, stores, and commissary locations when required.
