JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory controls, inventory movement compliance, physical inventory counts, and SAP posting discipline across all stores, commissaries, and warehouses. The role ensures inventory accuracy, minimizes variances and operational losses, and strengthens overall inventory governance and operational controls.
The position also leads inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, and process improvement initiatives while working closely with Operations, Finance, Warehouse, and Commissary teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor inventory movement compliance including receiving, transfers, issuances, production postings, adjustments, and disposals.
- Ensure timely and accurate SAP inventory postings across all locations.
- Lead monthly and periodic physical inventory counts and ensure compliance with count procedures and documentation standards.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, negative balances, variances, and operational gaps.
- Monitor shrinkage, spoilage, wastage, and inventory losses while recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with inventory handling standards, including FIFO and FEFO practices.
- Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Commissary, IT, and Finance teams to resolve inventory and process-related concerns.
- Drive process improvement and inventory control enhancement initiatives.
- Support automation and digitization projects related to inventory management and reporting.
- Conduct store and warehouse visits to reinforce inventory discipline and compliance.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, supply chain, audit, or finance operations.
- Experience in restaurant, F&B, retail, commissary, or food manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience using SAP ERP or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, reconciliation, variance analysis, and operational controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Willing to travel to stores, commissaries, and warehouse locations as needed.
