Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to manage, track, and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will support stock control operations, ensure proper documentation, and help prevent inventory shortages or excesses.
Duties And Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory
Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock databases
Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
Issue inventory items according to approved requests
Label, organize, and store inventory properly
Prepare inventory reports for management review
Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams
Ensure proper handling and storage of materials
Follow company procedures and inventory control policies
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification is an advantage)
Previous experience as an inventory clerk, storekeeper, or similar role
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and record-keeping skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic math and counting skills
Good communication skills
Ability to lift and move stock as required
