Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts of company assets and reconcile with system records
- Monitor and track movement of assets, including issuance, transfer, and disposal
- Maintain accurate and updated asset registry and inventory database
- Identify discrepancies, shortages, or overages and investigate root causes
- Prepare inventory and audit reports for management review
- Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and documentation of all company assets
- Coordinate with different departments regarding asset accountability and usage
- Assist in implementing and improving inventory control procedures
- Verify asset condition and ensure proper maintenance or repair when needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit standards
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Safeguard company assets by ensuring proper handling and storage
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or any related course
- Experience in asset management, inventory control, or warehouse management is an advantage (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with tracking, monitoring, and documentation of company assets and inventory
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) for reporting and record-keeping
- Ability to handle and manage high-value assets with accuracy and integrity
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Willing to work in a structured environment with established procedure
