About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
Inventory Audit & Budget Efficiency Specialist to oversee inventory accuracy, conduct regular audits, and drive cost optimization initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial discipline, reducing waste, and improving overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Audit
- Conduct periodic and random inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
- Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain accurate inventory records and audit documentation
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to improve stock control processes
- Develop and implement audit frameworks and controls
Budget Monitoring & Efficiency
- Track departmental budgets and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Analyze spending patterns and recommend cost optimization strategies
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure proper allocation and utilization of financial resources
- Develop reports and dashboards to monitor financial performance
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in inventory and budgeting processes
- Recommend and implement process improvements and controls
- Support automation initiatives for reporting and tracking
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 25 years of experience in inventory audit, financial analysis, or cost control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
- Knowledge of audit procedures and financial controls
- Background in operations, supply chain, or retail industries
