We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our Finance & Control team. In this role, you will support the Inventory Supervisor in day-to-day inventory control and accounting operations. You will play a crucial part in updating system transactions to ensure accurate inventory volume, cost, and valuation, as well as handling inventory-related administrative responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks:
- Set up, encode, and analyze landed costs.
- Set up item information sheets in Microsoft Dynamics AX for new items.
- Perform ABC analysis for selective inventory control.
- Review warehouse transaction edit lists to identify and correct potential errors.
- Perform cost checks on sales returns, production yield, stock transfers, and Purchase Order (PO) unit costs.
- Prepare pickup slips and stock transfer documents upon request.
- Monitor day-to-day stock-related transactions.
Monthly & Ongoing Tasks:
- Conduct stock counts and perform inventory reconciliations.
- Reconcile goods in transit and backloads.
- Prepare summaries for non-moving/slow-moving, expired, and near-expiry stocks.
- Monitor disposals from receiving, purchases, and ending inventory stock status.
- Maintain systematic filing of stock documents (DR transaction edit lists, TOS, PUS, MRIS).
- Assist in preparing MANCOM reports and monthly status reports.
- Assist with internal inventory audits and support queries from external auditors (PWC) and 3PL providers.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA license is a plus, but not required).
- Experience: Hands-on exposure to Computerized Accounting Systems (experience with MS Dynamics AX is preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Solid understanding of inventory accounting principles and general accounting procedures.
- High proficiency in data entry, data management, and material handling systems.

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and focus.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines (Can do alone).
- Strong proactive cooperation, problem-solving skills, and result-oriented mindset.
- Good communication skills for internal and external stakeholder coordination.
