Inventory Assistant (The Medical City Iloilo)

The Opportunity

As an Inventory Assistant at The Medical City Iloilo, you will help ensure that hospital supplies and materials are properly monitored, organized, and readily available when needed.

You will be involved in receiving and issuing supplies, updating inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with physical inventory counts. Your work will help keep inventory accurate and ensure that hospital departments have the supplies they need for their daily operations.

We are looking for someone who is organized, systematic, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility in handling supplies and inventory records.

What You'll Actually Do

• Monitor stock levels and identify items that need replenishment.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and recording delivered supplies.
• Prepare and document the issuance of supplies to different departments.
• Update inventory records and monitor incoming and outgoing stocks.
• Assist in conducting physical inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
• Monitor expired, damaged, and slow-moving items.
• Ensure that supplies are properly stored, labeled, and organized.
• Prepare inventory reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with different departments regarding stock availability and requests.
• Perform other inventory-related tasks as assigned.

Who You Are

• A graduate of a bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management, Accounting, or any related field.
• With experience in inventory management, warehousing, or stockroom operations is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in basic inventory monitoring and stock control procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Has good organizational, numerical, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and accurate in handling records and inventory transactions.
• Responsible and systematic in handling supplies and materials.
• Can work independently and collaboratively with different teams.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays, as required.
