Roles And Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce lead times, and optimize warehouse operations
- Plan and execute stock replenishment strategies to maintain consistent product availability
- Design, track, and report key metrics for supply chain and procurement functions
- Utilize inventory management systems to monitor stock movements and maintain accurate records
- Maintain and update master data in QAD to support efficient ERP operations
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align inventory strategies with overall business objectives
A Successful Candidate Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in inventory systems, QAD ERP, and MS Office tools (especially Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory data and reports
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Professional certification in supply chain or inventory management (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP)
- Experience with advanced inventory practices such as lean inventory, just-in-time (JIT), and demand forecasting
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in inventory management

- Improvement in inventory cycle times
- Reduction in slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB)
- Cost savings or avoidance equivalent to at least annual salary within the first year
