Inventory Accountant

Role Summary

Manages inventory accounting, valuation, and cost analysis for complex supply chains and high‑value inventories.

Key Responsibilities

-Maintain and reconcile inventory balances and subledgers

-Perform inventory costing, standard cost updates, and variance analysis

-Analyze purchase price, production, and inventory adjustment variances

-Support physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and adjustments

-Partner closely with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams

-Ensure accurate inventory accounting within SAP MM

-Support audits and internal controls related to inventory

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

-3–8+ years of inventory or cost accounting experience

-Strong hands-on experience with SAP MM (inventory, valuation, movements)

-Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

-Experience in oil & gas, manufacturing, or large-scale logistics environments is a plus
