Job Summary
The International Student Recruitment Manager will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing Recruitment Partners (RPs) across the Philippines to drive student enrollments for the Global Student Program (GSP). This role requires strong expertise in international student recruitment, channel sales management, and partner relationship development within the education sector.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to expand agent networks, increase enrollment numbers, and strengthen upGrad GSP's market presence through structured engagement and performance-driven strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment Partner Identification and Onboarding
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-potential Recruitment Partners (RPs), including education agents and channel partners across the Philippines.
- Conduct due diligence and ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Formalize partnerships through structured onboarding and performance alignment processes.
2. Partner Relationship Management
- Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with active Recruitment Partners to drive consistent enrollment growth.
- Provide ongoing training, product updates, and marketing support.
- Monitor recruitment performance, track application pipelines, and implement corrective strategies where required.
3. Student Recruitment & Application Oversight
- Guide partners in delivering accurate student counselling aligned with institutional and visa requirements.
- Oversee application submissions to ensure completeness, compliance, and quality standards.
- Work closely with internal admissions and operations teams to enhance conversion ratios and student experience.
4. Market Development & Strategic Growth
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor positioning, and growth opportunities within the Philippines.
- Develop and execute regional recruitment strategies to increase brand visibility and partner engagement.
- Provide regular market intelligence reports to leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- 36 years of experience in international student recruitment, education sales, or channel partner management.
- Proven experience managing education agents and achieving enrollment targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel within the Philippines for recruitment and partner engagement activities.
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
