The Internal Audit Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing internal audit activities to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. This role ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and mitigate business risks.
Qualifications Needed:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in internal or external auditing.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles, internal control frameworks, auditing standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple audit engagements.
What You'll be Doing:
- Lead and supervise internal audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with company policies, established internal controls, and applicable regulations.
- Assess audit results, identify key risks and control gaps, and prepare detailed audit reports with practical recommendations to improve business processes and strengthen controls.
- Track the implementation of audit recommendations and coordinate with process owners to ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
- Mentor, coach, and oversee the performance of audit staff, promoting high-quality audit work and continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with department heads and senior management to evaluate operational risks, enhance internal control systems, and support the organization's strategic and operational objectives.
