Internal Audit Officer

About The Role

Oak Drive Ventures, Inc. is looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Internal Audit Specialist / Officer to support audit engagements and help strengthen internal controls, risk management, and business processes. This role involves conducting audit procedures, reviewing records, documenting findings, and monitoring corrective actions across various business functions.

Key responsibilities

Assist in planning audit engagements, defining objectives and scope, and identifying potential risks.

Conduct audit procedures, including substantive testing and reviews of financial transactions, operational processes, and compliance with company policies.

Review documents, analyze data, and identify discrepancies, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.

Prepare and document audit findings, supporting evidence, and recommendations.

Coordinate with relevant departments to validate findings and obtain management responses and corrective action plans.

Assist in preparing audit reports and presenting findings during audit closing meetings.

Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and follow up on outstanding audit findings.

Maintain accurate audit documentation and support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; at least one year of internal or external audit experience is an advantage.

CPA or CIA certification is a plus.

Basic understanding of audit principles, risk assessment, internal controls, and audit procedures.

Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established audit procedures.
