Internal Audit Officer

• Perform risk-based internal audits, including financial, operational, compliance, and special investigations as directed.
• Conduct detailed testing of controls to evaluate their adequacy and effectiveness; assess the reliability of financial and operational data.
• Prepare clear, organized, and high-quality audit workpapers that support conclusions and comply with IIA Standards and company methodology.
• Assist in monitoring the status of prior audit recommendations and validating the implementation of management action plans.
• Assist in ESG readiness assessments and the review of sustainability-related processes.
• Contribute to the identification of risks related to ESG initiatives and internal control considerations.
• Highlight control gaps, inefficiencies, and emerging risks during fieldwork.
• Prepare initial drafts of audit observations and practical recommendations for the Internal Audit Manager's review.
• Communicate with department staff during audits to gather information and explain audit processes in a professional manner.
• Maintain strict adherence to the Internal Audit Charter, Code of Ethics, and professional confidentiality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new regulations, and evolving internal audit techniques, and ESG frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA or CIA designation is highly preferred.
• 15 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or Internal Audit.
• Ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns or control weaknesses.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and interacting with stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy in documentation and evidence gathering.
• Willingness to learn new areas of the business, including sustainability and ESG reporting standards.
