The Role

Support to the Trident Trust Philippines Internal Accounting Team that serves as a back-office and shared service for internal accounting support functions to client offices in the region.

Reporting Line

  • Internal Accounting, Manager

Duties

  • Support to the Internal Accounting Team for the preparation and delivery of internal accounting tasks which may include bank data collection and reconciliation, processing of suppliers invoices and payments, preparation of client billings and application of collections, creditor and debtor aging reports management
  • Support for the bookkeeping of operational transactions and the preparation of monthly, quarterly and/or annual management accounts, and annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting
  • Support for the preparation and submission of any applicable statutory and tax reporting
  • Undertake specific projects and other internal accounting tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Skills and Knowledge

  • Has relevant professional qualification to be able to perform responsibilities and duties effectively, a CPA is an advantage
  • At least 1-3 years (Job Grade: Officer) or at least 4 years (Job Grade: Senior Officer) relevant experience in the same field and capacity is an advantage
  • Excellent bookkeeping, reconciliation, numeracy, variance analysis skills and with keen attention to details
  • Proficiency in written and oral English is a must
  • Ability to work with internal and offshore team members, other department/offices team members and heads, to meet tight deadlines
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Offices particularly Excel and Word is a must, experience in using Viewpoint or related systems is an advantage
  • Has initiative, commitment to quality service, and can work independently with a can do attitude
