Role Description The Intermediate Electrical Engineer will work on the design and coordination of electrical systems for building services projects, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and low-voltage systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications, reviewing layouts and models, and supporting project documentation from concept through construction. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, attending coordination meetings, and responding to design queries from clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. The Intermediate Electrical Engineer will assist in quality assurance reviews, ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, and contribute to cost-effective and energy-efficient solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Juan City.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles related to building services, including power distribution, lighting, and protection systems.
  • Experience with electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar CAD platforms; familiarity with Revit, BIM, or modeling tools is an advantage).
  • Ability to read and produce electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations, and commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Effective collaboration skills for working with mechanical, structural, and other engineering disciplines in a project environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities for practical, cost-effective design solutions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for reports, specifications, client correspondence, and internal coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline; professional licensure or eligibility to pursue licensure is preferred.
  • Prior experience in building services or construction projects at an intermediate level; consultancy experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
