As an Intermediate Bookkeeper, you are a critical driver of financial health for Australian SMEs. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional ready to take ownership of the end-to-end bookkeeping lifecycle. You will move beyond simple data entry to manage complex payroll and compliance tasks, ensuring our Australian partners have the accurate real-time data they need to thrive.

Your Impact

  • Champion of Payroll & Compliance: Navigate the technicalities of Australian payroll, superannuation, and employee entitlements. You will prepare and lodge BAS/IAS under the guidance of senior leadership, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met with surgical precision.
  • Cloud-Accounting Expert: Maintain pristine records using a modern tech stack, including Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks. You will utilize cloud-based add-ons to streamline workflows and provide senior bookkeepers and managers with the robust reporting needed for strategic decision-making.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Manage strict deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy. Your ability to organize complex financial data ensures that our global clients receive world-class support and seamless service delivery.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: 3-4+ years of dedicated bookkeeping experience, specifically within Australia-focused roles or accounting firms.
  • Technical Mastery: Sound knowledge of GST, payroll, and Australian compliance requirements. You are highly proficient in Xero and familiar with various cloud-based accounting add-ons.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional accuracy, timeliness, and organizational skills. You are a clear communicator who thrives in a process-driven environment and can work independently to deliver high-quality results.

Why You'll Love It Here

We believe in rewarding high achievers with a work environment that fuels both professional growth and personal well-being.

  • Work-Life Harmony: Enjoy a 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM shift, allowing you to sync perfectly with the Australian market while reclaiming your afternoons for family, hobbies, or rest.
  • Health & Security: Comprehensive HMO and Life Insurance coverage from day one.
