Intermediate Accountant
Location: Clark
Shift: 9:00PM - 6:00AM (Monday-Friday) PHT
Work Arrangement: Onsite/Fulltime

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role manages accurate bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and organized work papers while maintaining daily task tracking, communication, and workflow updates. The role supports monthly and quarterly closings, prepares sales tax filings, follows up with clients, and assists with the annual 1099 process, ensuring timely and reliable financial records for multiple clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily
* Follow company processes and protocols.
* Daily awareness and tracking of deadlines in Asana.
* Maintain personal email inbox.
* Maintain a 24-hour email response time.
* Send daily plans for the day and end of day summaries.
* Track time in QB time.
* Complete bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks.
* Complete accounting support tasks assigned by Senior Accountants and/or
* Team Leader.
Weekly
* Bookkeeping for Monthly reporting clients.
* Follow up with clients who have not responded on project inquiries.
* Attach documentation to payroll and expense transactions.
* Organize other work papers.
Monthly
* Bookkeeping for Quarterly Clients
* Review own work for accuracy
* Reconcile bank, credit card and loan accounts.
* Review all reports related to the monthly closing process.
* Collaborate with Senior Staff Accountants on report reviews.
* Download and organize payroll tax returns for relevant clients.
* Submit and pay sales tax in multiple states.
Annually
* Participate in 1099 process - collect W9s, ensure vendor information is correct, generate Expenses by Vendor reports for clients engaging FFS for 1099

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:
* Degree in Accounting or Finance
* End-to-end accounting experience including but not limited to:
o Financial Statement Preparation
o Accounts payable
o Payroll entries
o Accrual accounting
* Ability to handle multiple client accounts.
* 2+ years of Bookkeeping and/or accounting experience.
* Expertise in QuickBooks Online and related software
Language Skills:
* Ability to clearly and effectively present information and respond to questions form managers, customers, and peers, in English, over telephone and in writing.
Computer Skills:
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Basic Excel capabilities, QuickBooks Online, ability to learn new software applications
Reasoning Ability:
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations. Strong critical thinking skills required. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities required.
Physical Demands:
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and see. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand walk and reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment:
* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Non-Negotiable Qualifications
* Degree in Accounting or Finance
* Experienced in month end close procedures
* Experienced in handling multiple client accounts
* 2+ years QBO, Xero, or similar cloud-based accounting software
* 1+ years Bill.com experience or similar bill-pay applications
