Job Description

SCDA is an international practice seamlessly integrating architecture, interiors, landscape and object-making to create holistic spatial experiences that are intrinsically sustainable. With offices in Singapore, Shanghai, Manila and New York City, SCDA has projects in over 80 locations across Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, and North America. In parallel, SCDA Lab pioneers social and cultural initiatives, applying research and design to enact measurable change and advance the environmental cause.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Interior Detailer to join our Manila Interiors team. This role is central to translating design concepts into refined, buildable details — producing comprehensive drawing sets, coordinating with consultants and suppliers, and ensuring design integrity throughout every stage of delivery. You will work on high-end hospitality and residential projects, contributing to interiors that reflect SCDA's timeless aesthetic — defined by craftsmanship, proportion, and materiality

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed interior architectural drawings and construction documentation
  • Develop and coordinate interior detailing packages for luxury hospitality and residential projects
  • Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout project development and construction phases
  • Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with project requirements
  • Ensure all drawings and documentation uphold SCDA's design standards and aesthetic consistency.
  • Support the team in on-site coordination and review during implementation.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in interior detailing for luxury hospitality and/or residential projects
  • Strong aesthetic sensibilities and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of interior specifications, materials, and construction methodologies
  • Proven track record and portfolio demonstrating completed luxury hotel projects
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in an Interior Design consultancy, Architectural practice, or Construction company
  • Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure design intent is executed accurately
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
