Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation of detailed interior design working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Translate conceptual designs into technical documentation using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Collaborate with designers and architects to ensure designs are both visually compelling and technically feasible.
- Maintain consistency in technical standards and ensure drawings adhere to applicable building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is effectively communicated.
- Review and revise drawings based on client feedback, design updates, and project requirements.
- Contribute to the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, building codes, and construction processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, Lumion, or V-Ray).
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture sourcing.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED standards.
