Your Role:
As our
Integration and Systems Engineer, you will lead technical integrations that connect customers and partners to our global tourism platform, ensuring reliable, secure access across cloud services, SaaS products, and internal systems. This hands-on, high-impact role focuses on onboarding, support, and systems hardening for our tourism API stack. You will also standardize and migrate integrations from acquired companies to improve scalability, security, and operational consistency.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for customer and integrations onboarding.
- Provide second-level (SL2) production support: triage and resolve escalated incidents, reproduce issues, and implement fixes or workarounds.
- Diagnose and debug API integrations: capture/inspect requests and responses, validate payloads/headers, and coordinate with backend teams.
- Correlate application, database, and network logs to identify root causes and support post-incident reviews and post-mortems.
- Identify performance bottlenecks across services and integrations recommend and implement optimizations.
- Automate and maintain onboarding workflows and customer-facing infrastructure using scripts and IaC (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, etc.).
- Collaborate with DevOps/engineering to deploy fixes, rollbacks, and preventative automation that reduce future escalations.
What You Need:Must-Have Qualifications- Good communication and collaboration skills - youu0027re not afraid to ask questions or seek help when needed.
- A strong interest in IT, Security, DevOps, cloud computing or infrastructure engineering.
- Eagerness to learn tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and monitoring platforms.
- Comfortable working with the Linux command line not afraid to explore and troubleshoot in a terminal environment
- A problem-solving mindset and the willingness to experiment, debug, and learn from failure.
Nice-to-Have Skills- Experience in software architecture and development
- Linux or Windows system administration
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation, deployment, and tooling.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- ITIL-aligned support team experience with incident management, escalation, and customer-facing troubleshooting.
