Job Description

The Head of Integrated Marketing Communications is primarily responsible for helping create a strong BPI brand that will be the foundation for a differentiated brand imagery that delights customers, delivered in identified points of presence, whether online or offline, consistent, and conforming to brand standards, while at the same time creating value for the bank. He serves as a strategic partner of the Segments, Products and Channels marketing units to ensure alignment of all marketing communications campaigns with the Unibank brand strategy and guidelines, to protect and grow the Unibank's Brand Equity. He ensures that the BPI brand story, through the Unibank content roadmap, is told in a way that is relevant, cohesive, and engaging to the target market, based on the motivator attributes in the BHT.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leads the governance of the brand guidelines for all the primary, enterprise-wide marketing and communications of the Unibank
  • Oversees the overall project management of all integrated marketing communications campaigns, ensuring its timely delivery, within budget, and aligns with the marketing and communication objectives, while confirming to brand standards
  • Leads the planning, developing, and executing of effective and innovative integrated marketing communication campaigns across the various owned and paid channels of the Unibank
  • Leads in managing the relationships with SPCs and other internal stakeholders
  • Leads in managing the relationships & executes the remuneration strategies of Creative Agencies
  • Builds, leads, and mentors a team of communications marketers that specialize in the fields of brand management, and integrated marketing communications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications, Business, Advertising, or any related course
  • Master's degree preferred
  • At least 15 years in Advertising, Integrated Marketing & Communications, and/or Brand Management
  • Background in the Financial Services industry is an advantage
  • Expert understanding of brand and market research methodologies, consumer behavior, and IMC strategies
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance policies (BSP, IPO, DTI, ASC, Risk & Compliance, Audit)
  • Strong project management with proven track record of delivering high-quality campaigns
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Team leadership, coaching, and mentorship
