About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Back-Office Staff member with strong knowledge of both Commercial and Personal Lines insurance. This role supports US insurance agencies by managing policy administration, renewals, endorsements, billing reconciliation, claims processing, and client servicing activities.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working within multiple Agency Management Systems (AMS), understands US insurance workflows, and can efficiently handle high-volume back-office operations while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
Responsibilities
• Process new business setup and policy entry.
• Handle policy servicing, policy checking, and policy changes.
• Prepare and process endorsements and change requests.
• Manage renewals processing and policy remarketing support.
• Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Auto ID Cards.
• Process mortgagee changes and policy updates.
• Prepare and submit ACORD applications to carriers and MGAs.
• Assist with quoting and carrier submissions.
• Handle policy cancellations and reinstatements.
• Process loss runs and claims-related requests.
• Manage billing activities and accounts receivable reconciliation.
• Perform direct bill reconciliation and commission tracking.
• Process Broker of Record (BOR) requests.
• Maintain document indexing, filing, and records management.
• Create and maintain SOP documentation using Excel and Word.
• Conduct outbound calls when required to support client servicing.
Qualifications
• 2-4+ years of US Property & Casualty insurance experience.
• Experience supporting both Commercial and Personal Lines insurance.
• Hands-on experience using at least three Agency Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of insurance policy servicing workflows.
• Experience processing renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Experience preparing ACORD forms and carrier submissions.
• Knowledge of COIs, Auto ID Cards, MVRs, claims, and loss runs.
• Familiarity with billing reconciliation and commission processing.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to make outbound calls when required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Implementation experience is a plus.
• CISR, CIC, CRM, or similar insurance certifications are highly preferred.
