About the Role
Join our growing team supporting a U.S.-based insurance agency specializing in Health & Benefits. As an Insurance Virtual Assistant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate client records, processing enrollments and policy changes, preparing quotes and proposals, and coordinating with insurance carriers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting clients through efficient back-office operations.
Responsibilities
- Process employee enrollments and terminations through carrier portals.
- Handle policy and member change requests accurately and promptly.
- Conduct follow-ups with carriers regarding pending requests and policy updates.
- Update client and policy information in Health Connect.
- Maintain accurate records in Zywave BrokerageBuilder.
- Prepare insurance quotes using Perfect Quote.
- Create professional insurance proposals.
- Communicate with insurance carriers via email regarding policy updates and requests.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and processed within service deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal team members to support daily operations during peak enrollment periods.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience supporting a U.S. insurance agency or insurance back-office operations.
- Experience processing enrollments, terminations, or policy changes.
- Familiarity with carrier portals and insurance documentation.
- Experience preparing insurance quotes and proposals is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience using Health Connect, Zywave BrokerageBuilder, Perfect Quote, or similar insurance management systems is an advantage.
- Excellent written English communication skills for carrier correspondence.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work onsite (Clark, Pampanga)
Night Shift Requirement
This is a permanent night shift position supporting U.S.-based clients. Applicants must be willing and able to work during U.S. business hours, including peak enrollment seasons when workloads may increase.
