About the Role
Boogie Team is looking for an experienced Insurance Virtual Assistant to support a U.S.-based insurance agency with both Personal and Commercial Lines.
This role will support licensed insurance agents with day-to-day quoting, carrier communication, client follow-ups, and policy servicing. The ideal candidate has previous experience working with a U.S. insurance agency or carrier and is comfortable communicating directly with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters.
We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive with follow-ups, and confident managing multiple quotes and service requests at the same time.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound client calls regarding quotes, policies, coverage questions, and general insurance inquiries.
- Gather client and risk information needed to prepare new insurance quotes.
- Prepare and request Personal Lines quotes, including Auto, Home, Renters, Umbrella, and related coverage.
- Assist with Commercial Lines quotes, including General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, BOP, Property, and other business insurance.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in carrier portals, comparative rating systems, agency management systems, and CRM platforms.
- Communicate with carriers and underwriters regarding quotes, eligibility, underwriting requirements, missing information, and pending requests.
- Follow up with clients for applications, documents, loss runs, driver information, property details, and other required information.
- Compare premiums, deductibles, coverage limits, and quote options, and ensure pending quotes are followed through to completion.
- Support licensed agents with renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and general policy servicing as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with a U.S.-based insurance agency or insurance carrier.
- Hands-on experience with Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines insurance; experience supporting both is strongly preferred.
- Experience with insurance quoting processes and carrier portals.
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients, carriers, and underwriters by phone and email.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Excellent organization, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple quotes, requests, and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using an insurance agency management system (AMS) or CRM.
- Familiarity with comparative rating platforms.
- Experience supporting renewals, endorsements, certificates, and other insurance servicing activities.
- Previous remote experience supporting a U.S. insurance agency.
