INSURANCE PROCESSING SPECIALIST

Turn complex details into confident cover. Support accurate, timely insurance and reinsurance processing—from new business and renewals to endorsements and technical documentation. You'll help brokers and operations teams keep every detail clear, compliant, and on track.

Role Overview

Keep insurance and reinsurance business moving with precision. You'll process new business, renewals, and endorsements across all lines; manage broking system billings; and prepare accurate Evidence of Covers, Cover Notes, and Addenda. Working with brokers and the Broker Enablement team in the Operations Division, you'll handle enquiries, maintain technical records, and support efficient coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process insurance business: Handle new business, renewals, and endorsements across all insurance and reinsurance lines; verify placement details against correspondence and check approved insurer and reinsurer listings.
• Keep billing accurate: Complete checklists and accounting forms, calculate premiums and warranty or instalment due dates, and maintain broking system data for Debit/Credit Notes and Premium Closings.
• Deliver compliant documentation: Issue accurate technical documents within service standards and turnaround times, meeting Contract Certainty, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.
• Maintain reliable records: Keep client and market data, policy details, correspondence, interaction records, and production trackers accurate; manage technical filing and annual archiving under company procedures.
• Support assurance and manage risks: Assist with annual audits and errors and omissions (E&O) reviews, escalating potential E&O issues promptly to the Division Head or Directors.
• Coordinate team priorities: Work with Finance to resolve technical queries and carry out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in insurance broking or financial services support is preferred.
• Experience using Copilot tools, such as Microsoft Copilot in Excel, Word, or Teams, to improve productivity and reporting.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination across teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to day-to-day work.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with commercial, specialty, treaty, or wholesale insurance.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Exposure to digital tools or platforms used in broker enablement or sales operations.
