Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and persistent Insurance Claims Specialist to join the team at Bridge Dental Group, based in New Mexico. This role is critical to the firm's financial health, focusing on the end-to-end insurance lifecyclefrom initial verification to resolving aging reports. You will serve as a key liaison between the clinic and insurance providers, ensuring that claims are processed accurately and payments are secured. The ideal candidate is a high-energy professional who thrives on the phone and possesses the tenacity to navigate complex insurance denials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Claims Management: Prepare and submit dental insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Denial Follow-up: Proactively follow up on all denied or rejected claims, researching the root cause and resubmitting with necessary documentation.
  • Insurance Aging Reports: Regularly work and clean up insurance aging reports to ensure no revenue is left on the table.
  • Insurance Verification: Conduct thorough insurance verifications for patients prior to appointments to ensure coverage and accurate co-pay estimates.
  • High-Volume Communication: Manage frequent inbound and outbound calls with insurance carriers to track claim status and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Information Meticulousness: Maintain accurate notes within the practice management system regarding all interactions with insurance companies.

Qualifications

  • Communication Skills:Exceptional English communication skills (C2 level) are a mandatory requirement. You must be comfortable and professional while spending a significant portion of your day on the phone.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in insurance claims processing, ideally within the dental or medical field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master new software, platforms, and digital tools related to billing or case management.
  • Persistence & Detail: A never-give-up attitude toward following up on denials and a super detail-oriented approach to documentation.
  • Reliability: High level of professional accountability and a commitment to long-term growth with the client.
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity in a remote setting.
