The Opportunity
The Insurance Broking Assistant will play a critical role in managing end-to-end claims while supporting core broking and compliance functions within a busy national brokerage. This role is ideal for an experienced insurance professional with strong Australian market exposure who can contribute from day one.
You will work closely with senior brokers and internal stakeholders to manage claims, ensure compliance, and support client servicing activities in a structured, fast-paced environment. Over time, you will gain deeper exposure to both commercial and domestic portfolios, with opportunities to expand into broader broking responsibilities.

What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end claims processing from notification through to settlement
- Act as the primary point of contact for claims, coordinating with insurers and providing client updates
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory timeframes
- Support pre-renewal communications and broader compliance requirements
- Assist with quote preparation, endorsements, cancellations, and policy updates
- Issue certificates of currency, tax invoices, and maintain accurate broking system records
- Handle general broking administration, enquiries, and coordination across internal teams
Key Criteria
- Minimum 5 years experience within the Australian insurance industry (non-negotiable)
- Proven experience in claims management and/or insurance broking support
- Strong understanding of Australian insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with broking systems (e.g., Sunrise or similar) and workflow tools
- Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities
- Proactive, accountable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 General Insurance qualification (Tier 1 preferred) and Cert IV in General Insurance or equivalent (or in progress)
Work Set Up
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00 AM –3:00 PM PHT) with a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) after 6 months onsite probation
