The Instructional Designer is responsible for creating engaging and effective learning solutions that support business goals and employee development. This role develops training materials, e-learning content, multimedia assets, and learning resources while collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver impactful learning experiences.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Design, develop, and implement technical and non-technical training materials aligned with business goals and learner needs.
  • Conduct learning needs assessments through collaboration with stakeholders and recommend effective training solutions.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance standardized training templates to ensure consistency and professionalism across learning programs.
  • Develop multimedia learning assets including videos, graphics, presentations, job aids, e-learning modules, and digital resources.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to transform complex information into clear, engaging, and learner-focused content.
  • Maintain, update, and improve existing training materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create engaging learning experiences.
  • Support the branding and visual identity of training programs through the creation of logos, graphics, and visual assets.
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging learning technologies to improve content development efficiency and learner engagement.
  • Ensure all learning materials meet organizational quality standards and instructional design best practices.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements to learning programs and content.

Required Skills & Experience (To excel in this role, you should possess):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Communications, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in instructional design, training development, learning content creation, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and curriculum development.
  • Experience designing and developing learning materials for instructor-led, virtual, or digital learning environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into learner-friendly content.
  • Strong project management, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality learning solutions.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar).
  • Experience with video creation, editing, and multimedia production tools.
  • Knowledge of graphic design platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning technologies.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to support content development and learning design.
  • Experience developing interactive, blended, or self-paced learning solutions.
  • Knowledge of training evaluation methods and learning analytics.
