We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Mason to join our team. The Mason will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials to build and repair structures.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials
- Mix cement and mortar
- Construct and repair walls, floors, and other structures
- Read and follow basic construction plans
- Ensure work is level, aligned, and properly finished
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least High School Graduate
- With 57 years of experience in masonry work
- Experienced in tile setting and finishing masonry
- Must be knowledgeable in tile setting, fabrication, alteration, and repair of bathrooms, sinks, manholes, and other related masonry works
- Able to identify and prepare the materials needed and follow the proper sequence of work for a project
- Knowledgeable in mixing concrete and proper use of masonry tools and equipment
- Responsible, hardworking, and able to work with minimal supervision
- This position is for the replacement of a regular employee and will be based at JAKA Center
