TITLE: Install Bridge Line Team Lead

LOCATION: Cebu

Position Summary

The Install Bridge Line Team Lead manages delivery and installation of NCR, customer procured and third party products and services for NCR's customers. Other services include (but are not limited to) upgrades to equipment, redeployments, service assumption, FRO's, and site preparation services. Provides project coordination services (customer single point of contact, management reporting, billing, subject matter expert, etc.) in accounts that do not have Project Management representation. The Install Bridge Line Team Lead is a key member of the NCR project team responsible for coordinating the successful delivery of equipment and installation of the contracted services (internally and externally). The Install Bridge Line Team Lead utilizes defined processes and tools to ensure that each customer site/project is delivered and installed on time; and is complete to meet the customer's expectations and in accordance with the documented scope of work.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Project Management

  • Develop or assist in the creation and ongoing management of the rollout schedule.
  • Update, track, and adjust the rollout schedule on a timely basis.
  • Identify installation risks, escalate and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Recognize, document, and implement process/project improvements

Team Attendance Monitoring

  • Check day to day staffing/headcount
  • Process necessary behavioral sanctions if/when necessary
  • Updates and plans leave/vacation tracker (provides approval for any type of leaves/ tardiness and tracks it appropriately). You are held responsible and accountable with your decisions. If approving leaves, you should be able to plan who would back up the missing head to ensure that all expected deliverables are still successfully met (RD OT should be last resort as it is considered additional expense and as much as possible, everyone should be able to get the needed bread from day to day work environment

Team Performance Monitoring

  • Coaching
  • back-up planning (ensure coverage)
  • performance feedbacks (quarterly/annual/Semi)
  • performance tracking/evaluation
  • stack ranking proposals
  • meeting/touchpoints (team, PMO, Customers, field, 3rd party vendors, NCR employees)
  • documentation/work instructions
  • review reports (to help you identify if the employee did his/her job for the day and ensure that customer/company and management expectations are met)
  • escalation/issue resolution (you will be the first line of escalation. Escalate then to Manager as necessary)
  • training plan(ensure updates are saved)
  • provide proposals for recognition points (if there is enough budget)
  • conducts process calibrations with the team
  • provide recommendations for Process improvements as you see necessary

Local Policy Reinforcement

  • ensure that all direct reports adhere to the local policies and guidelines and report/raise anything you observed to be a violation against company/projects/team policies

Management Requirement and Tasks

  • complete at least 12 management courses
  • confidentiality of information (you are expected to keep management level information confidential. Any leak of information from management to employee level may result to your possible termination
  • Reduce conflict to help maintain a positive and happy environment (Remember that you are part of Management so you should not help increase any team chaos/conflicts but instead help in subsiding any organizational/team conflict)
  • NCR way is self service so other than the coaching and feedbacks provided by manager/s, learn to exhaust resources and explore opportunities for learning
  • Apply different strategies to help manage projects esp in cases where there are limited resources available. For planned and properly forecasted projects, provide recommendations when there is a need to add resources and provide business justifications
  • Can multitask and willing to work extended hours when needed/necessary. Can also work on different shift schedules
  • Help ensures that we don't just deliver but exceed expectations
  • Help reduce costs in all areas (allowances should be added/removed as due, unnecessary OTs should be reduced)
  • Manager's/co Team Lead's back up

Coordination/Scheduling

  • Create installation scheduling requests and ensure that all customer installation/deployment activity is scheduled and completed to the customer's satisfaction and per SOW.
  • Responsible for maintaining the rollout schedule.
  • Responsible for updating Quickbase (or similar) database with equipment and services data.
  • Coordinate post-startup activities. (i.e. data gathering, team resources identification, installation processes distributed, data repository established, etc.)
  • Identify out of scope activities per SOW and communicate to Project Manager.
  • Ensure that the requested site level activities are scheduled within standard process time frames.
  • Provide the required delivery dates and locations for subsequent rollout or destination deferred orders to the Deployment Services centers..
  • Coordinate with other vendors as needed for delivery of equipment or services.
  • Escalate issues with maintaining the rollout schedule, as needed, and manage to closure.
  • Ensure any necessary billing data is provided to the appropriate parties.
  • Revenue outlook by customer and revenue deferral release as defined by customer

Communications

  • Establishes and maintains communications with project team. A project team may include representatives of the customer, sales, BU, Project Management, Staging, Service Account Management, CS and any third-party partner(s).
  • Participates in scheduled meetings with key team members to review project feedback, tasks, action items and lessons learned.
  • Provide updates to the project status via Quickbase.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related education/experience.
  • PC proficient (Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Customer Focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Basic Project Management knowledge
  • Basic Conflict Management and Negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve issues with a sense of urgency
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently
  • 2 - 4 years of work related experience

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with NCR tools
  • Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • EDW
  • Quickbase/ EPM
  • Customer database
  • Customer tools/applications as required
  • Experience in the Financial, Retail, Telecomm, or Entertainment Industries
  • Willing to work non-standard business hours as required by projects
  • NCR experience
