We are looking for skilled CDI Specialists and Inpatient Coders to join our dynamic team and drive clinical and coding accuracy across client systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze inpatient medical records to ensure clinical documentation accurately reflects patient severity, risk, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to clarify documentation and support accurate DRG assignment.
- Identify documentation improvement opportunities and provide feedback to clinical staff.
- Apply knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRGs, and coding compliance guidelines.
- Perform accurate and timely assignment of ICD-10-CM/PCS codes based on thorough review of inpatient medical records.
- Ensure accurate DRG assignment for hospital reimbursement and compliance.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy as per client and company standards.
- Stay up to date with official coding guidelines and payer-specific requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be PHRN/USRN with Active license
- Must have active coding license
- At least 1 year of experience in Inpatient Coding or Clinical Documentation Improvement for US healthcare clients.
- Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, DRG systems, and Medicare guidelines.
- Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
