Inpatient Medical Coder (PHRN/Allied)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Inpatient Medical Coder to join our growing team. This role is responsible for accurate coding of inpatient medical records while ensuring compliance with coding standards and regulatory requirements in both clinical and BPO/CPO environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient medical coding with accuracy and efficiency

• Review medical records and assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes

• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, payer rules, and regulatory standards

• Coordinate with clinical teams and stakeholders for clarifications as needed

• Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in coding processes

Qualifications

• PHRN (Philippine Registered Nurse) or Medical Allied graduate

• With CCS and/or CIC Certification

• At least 1 year of inpatient medical coding experience in a clinical, BPO, or CPO setup

• Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and healthcare documentation

• Good communication skills for both voice and non-voice tasks

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Additional Requirements

• Willing to work on a mid shift schedule and open to shifting schedules as needed

• Comfortable with a blended role (voice and non-voice)
