Inpatient Medical Coder (DRG)

QUALIFICATIONS:

✔️At least 3 years of inpatient DRG coding experience

✔️Bachelor's degree in an allied health field

✔️Active CCS,CIC, or CDIP certification

✔️Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology

✔️Expertise in ICD‑10‑CM/PCS coding

✔️Experience with MS‑DRG and APR‑DRG assignment

✔️Proficient in identifying POA, SOI, ROM, HACs, and PSIs

✔️Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance

✔️Experience using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech

✔️Good English communication skills (B2)
