About the role: We are looking for Innovation Project Coordinator, who will support the initiation and management of multiple product innovation projects for a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client, from concept development through launch. You will work closely with senior team members and various stakeholders to coordinate project activities, monitor progress, maintain documentation, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end project coordination support for product and packaging innovation projects, covering concept development, feasibility validation, R&D, business proposals, and approval stages.
- Support senior team members with the day-to-day execution and coordination of innovation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, deliverables, and objectives.
- Facilitate project update meetings and ensure key decisions, actions, and updates are effectively communicated to all stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress against agreed milestones, timelines, and deliverables, identifying and escalating potential delays or deviations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records using project management tools and spreadsheets.
- Collect, consolidate, and validate information and inputs required for project documentation and supporting materials.
- Support feedback loops by consolidating stakeholder inputs, minimizing unnecessary iterations, and maintaining project efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, presentations, status updates, and communication materials.
- Proactively identify project challenges and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to help keep projects on track.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- MBA is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in project management or project coordination, preferably within a CPG/FMCG environment.
- Familiarity with product innovation, packaging innovation, or New Product Development (NPD) processes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Jira.
- Fluent in Japanese (Native orJLPT N2+ certification required) or Mandarin (Native orC2+ certification required) and strong English communication
