Infrastructure Trainee-Alabang

Position Summary

The Infrastructure Trainee is an entry-level role designed for individuals beginning a career in enterprise IT infrastructure and end user support. The trainee will work alongside Infrastructure Engineers and Site Support personnel to learn core operational processes, provide basic technical support, assist with hardware deployment, and gain experience with Microsoft technologies, networking, and IT service management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with laptop and workstation deployment, setup, and asset tracking
• Support basic troubleshooting of Windows devices, printers, peripherals, and collaboration tools
• Create and update tickets in the IT service management platform
• Assist with employee onboarding, equipment preparation, and desk setups
• Support inventory management, asset audits, and documentation updates
• Learn basic networking concepts including connectivity, cabling, and wireless support
• Learn basic Server and Core Infrastructure tools and support
• Participate in AI and Automation efforts across varied platforms
• Web development tools and support of key Infrastructure apps
• Participate in knowledge base and process documentation activities
• Escalate issues to senior team members when required
• Follow security, compliance, and change management procedures

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, technical diploma, or currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications
• Familiarity with computer hardware and common troubleshooting techniques
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow documented procedures

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Active Directory, Entra, Intune, SCCM, or ServiceNow
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and Wi-Fi
• Internship, school project, or lab experience supporting technology environments
• Interest in cloud, infrastructure, endpoint management, or virtual desktop technologies
