Infrastructure Project Manager (Wireless)

Role Overview

Infrastructure Project Manager (Wireless) leads end-to-end delivery of IT and wireless infrastructure for new store openings and remodel programs. The role ensures stores are network-ready on Day 1 while executing remodels with minimal disruption to live operations, security, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the regional PM in planning and execution of projects

Responsible for validating customer inputs and deliverables from the teams

Align on project milestones, ensure engineers adhere to the same

Maintain project documentation and tool updates

Track risks, dependencies, and change requests; escalate proactively

Maintain artifacts: as-builts, wireless heatmaps, network diagrams, sign-offs

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

712 years of experience in retail infrastructure rollout and remodel programs

Strong wireless expertise (Wi-Fi standards, RF fundamentals, surveys, validation)

Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, cabling, switching, firewalls, ISP coordination

Proven experience managing live-store remodel cutovers

Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and documentation tools

Strong vendor, construction, and executive stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing multi-store, parallel rollout programs

Familiarity with wireless refresh cycles and hardware lifecycle management

Experience with ITIL Change Management and operational handoff

PMP or equivalent certification
