Role Purpose
Manages the development and implementation of the wastewater masterplan for regulated and *non-regulated business (*as needed). Delivers Wastewater System Masterplan, CAPEX Investment Program, updated/ calibrated Annual Project List and develops strategic plans to meet company's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develops/ Calibrates the wastewater system master plan for both regulated and *non-regulated business (*as needed) that would include technical, financial, socio-economics, environmental and regulatory viability
- Leads cross functional team from master plan development, project initiation, project approval, and ensure that programs of projects are successfully implemented
- Develops and manages ManCom / SLT buy in of high level and conceptual design of system projects
- Acts as a strategic partner of project managers in the development of projects and asset managers on asset disposal and utilization
- Explains and justify Service Improvement Plans / System Projects to acquire MWSS buy in
- Manages consultants, challenges and reviews feasibility studies, preliminary design and terms of reference of systems projects
- Oversees the development, calibration and updating of the hydraulic models and simulation of system projects to ensure masterplan is continuously relevant
- Coordinates with external master planners (DPWH, MMDA, DOTC, LGU, etc.) and private developers to ensure alignment of plans
- Act as a technical resource to New Business Development team to get buy in of key decision makers (as needed)
- Lays down and executes management policies
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Chemical, or Environmental)
- Minimum 5 years experience in wastewater or water system development and management
- Knowledge and experience in the use of hydraulic modelling and simulation software
- Knowledge on environmental laws and programs
- At least 3 years management experience
