Job Summary
The Infrastructure & Security Specialist supports the maintenance, visibility, and security of the company's IT infrastructure. This role is focused on executing technical tasks such as patching, monitoring, endpoint compliance, and system configuration. The specialist contributes to infrastructure stability, supports audit preparation, and ensures day-to-day activities comply with ISO 27001 policies and InfoSec controls.
Objectives of the Role
- Support the secure implementation and health monitoring of IT infrastructure
- Execute regular patching, endpoint checks, and system updates
- Maintain logs, system diagrams, and change records
- Assist the Infra Manager and InfoSec in ensuring ISO-aligned implementation
- Serve as a technical resource during rollout, deployment, or incident response
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of core infrastructure (servers, VPNs, switches, backups)
- Monitor system health via Wazuh, Zabbix, and internal tools
- Execute OS and software patching across infrastructure endpoints
- Support VPN, firewall, and proxy server implementation and updates
- Contribute to backup validation, DR drill participation, and high-availability planning
- Maintain and update configuration records and network diagrams
- Assist with endpoint visibility, security hardening, and log collection
- Coordinate with Tech Support Leads for backend deployment tasks
- Support InfoSec during audit readiness activities
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in infrastructure, system administration, or IT operations
- Hands-on experience in networking, servers, endpoint protection, and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Wazuh, Zabbix, MikroTik, pfSense, Windows Server
- Experience in Hyper-V, DFS, or virtualisation platforms
- ISO/IEC 27001 awareness or hands-on participation in audits
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Linux+, Security+, or equivalent
