Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Solutions Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of enterprise and digital applications, acting as the critical bridge between business, product, and technology teams to ensure complex business needs are translated into sustainable, high quality technical solutions. With a primary focus on Finance-related systems, this role ensures that mission-critical financial workflows—especially those operating within or integrating closely with the SAP ecosystem, such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)—are secure, scalable, and continuously optimized. By blending technical architecture expertise with a deep understanding of financial processes, the Solutions Manager ensures these core applications remain reliable and strictly aligned with business strategy, ultimately driving operational excellence and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Solutions Delivery

  • Accountable to Business Unit / Service Line in providing IT Solutions to their Business Problems.
  • Manages the Projects Portfolio in his/her Business Unit (BU). You will act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, taking responsibility for translating business requirements into viable technical solutions. This requires conducting regular reviews with business unit leaders to assess application satisfaction and pinpoint areas for system enhancement. Furthermore, you will manage stakeholder expectations regarding feature requests, delivery timelines, and any inherent system limitations.
  • You will act as the definitive Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the assigned applications, serving as the primary authority on both technical architecture and functional capabilities. This involves providing advanced guidance to IT teams, business stakeholders, and leadership regarding system utilization and feature maximization. You will stay abreast of vendor updates, industry best practices, and emerging capabilities to continuously drive application value, while also mentoring technical staff and providing top-tier support for complex system inquiries.

Application Lifecycle Management

  • Manages and governs application lifecycle of assigned applications, from requirements to deployment, its operations, and eventual decommissioning.
  • - Drive continual optimization of application through delivery of new functionalities, increasing adoption, or reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Application Maintenance & Support

  • Works with Business Unit / Service Line to define Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) with infrastructure, network, and database teams, and Operations Support structure (L1 to L3 escalation) to ensure Operational Excellence.
  • Primary point of escalation for critical application issues; Ensures incidents and problems are resolved within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Managing relationships with third-party software
  • vendors, managed service providers, and system integrators is a central part of this role.
  • You will evaluate vendor performance against established SLAs and Key Performance
  • Indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. You will also play a key
  • role in negotiating software licenses, support contracts, and renewals to maintain cost
  • efficiency for the organization.

Security, Governance & Compliance

  • You must ensure all applications comply strictly
  • with internal security policies, data privacy regulations, and industry standards. This
  • involves managing user access controls, permissions, and role-based security directly
  • within the applications. Additionally, you will actively participate in IT audits and
  • implement necessary corrective actions to address any identified security gaps or compliance vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • 5+ years in IT or software development, with at least 2 years in managerial or leadership roles. Proven experience managing enterprise applications or large-scale digital solutions.
  • Cloud certifications in AWS/GCP/Azure is an advantage.
  • Willing to work in MOA Square, Pasay City
