Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with strong experience in the banking or financial services industry to lead and manage end-to-end technology projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and delivery within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and delivery strategies.
- Manage project scope, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests. Coordinate with business users, IT teams, vendors, third-party providers, and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate project meetings, status updates, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder presentations.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reports on status, risks, issues, and overall performance.
- Identify and resolve project risks, blockers, and escalations in a timely manner.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, QA teams, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and other technical teams.
- Ensure proper documentation of project requirements, processes, decisions, and deliverables.
- Oversee testing, implementation, deployment, and post-implementation activities. Ensure compliance with banking policies, information security standards, data privacy requirements, and applicable regulatory controls.
- Manage vendors and third-party partners when applicable. Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and delivery practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably with the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven experience managing complex technology projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, financial applications, digital banking, payment systems, core banking, or related banking technologies.
- Experience in project lifecycle management, including requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
