About the Role:
The Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects across client environments. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with technical and business requirements. The IT Project Manager works closely with internal teams, clients, vendors, and engineers to guarantee smooth execution and high quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end to end management of IT projects in areas such as infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives, networking deployments, and application implementations
- Create, maintain, and update project plans, schedules, milestones, and timelines
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, and change requests
- Facilitate project kickoff, weekly status meetings, and closing reviews
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and ensure clarity in all project communications
- Coordinate efforts between engineering teams, vendors, and client stakeholders
- Oversee resource scheduling and ensure proper allocation of engineering support
- Maintain project documentation including SOWs, project plans, risk logs, and change logs
- Monitor budgets, forecasting, and cost control
- Ensure smooth handoff to operations teams when projects are completed
- Provide project status reports that include progress, blockers, budget updates, and next steps
- Keep clear and organized communication logs of all client interactions
- Identify potential client concerns early and escalate when needed
- Ensure clients receive timely responses and structured updates throughout each project
- Track deadlines, task completion, and project performance to ensure consistent delivery
- Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and suggest improvements to internal processes
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of four years of experience managing IT projects in MSP or enterprise environments
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure, cloud technologies such as Microsoft 365 and Azure, cybersecurity, server environments, and end user computing
- Proficiency with project management platforms including Asana, Monday.com, and Jira
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management abilities
- Ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong documentation, organization, and follow through
- Preferred certifications include PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred
