Job Summary:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects that support organizational goals and operational efficiency. This role oversees end-to-end project lifecycle management from requirements gathering and resource allocation to implementation, monitoring, and project closure. The IT Project Manager ensures that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with business objectives and IT best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and oversee IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to assign project tasks, monitor progress, and resolve any roadblocks or issues that may arise.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, status reports, risk assessments, and resource allocation plans.
- Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to communicate updates, gather requirements, and clarify expectations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of client needs and ensure all deliverables align with their business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of project management experience, candidates with MSP background (preferably).
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and services, including servers, networking, and cloud-based solutions.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experienced working in MSP environment (preferably).
- CompTIA Project+ or PMI CAPM certifications (preferably).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams in a fully remote environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting client priorities.
- Can start ASAP.
