Job Summary
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, systems, and services. This role ensures the stability, performance, security, and availability of IT environments while leading operational teams and coordinating with stakeholders to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily IT operations, including servers, networks, applications, and end-user support
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems and services
- Lead and mentor IT operations, service desk, and support teams
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve incidents and problems
- Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices
- Coordinate incident, problem, and change management processes
- Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection, and regulatory requirements
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers
- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to align IT operations with business needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure support
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, systems, and cloud platforms
- Experience with ITIL processes and service management frameworks
