Job Summary:

Part of the team responsible for data protection governance for ITG and the development/maintenance of the compliance framework in accordance with the Bank's Data Privacy Policy and regulatory requirements, while overseeing ITG's privacy program; including

handling inquiries, managing deliverables, and administering data breach incident management.

Duties and responsibilities:

Data Protection Reporting and Governance

• Creates and maintains in-scope standards and processes to meet Data Privacy Office requirements aligning with data privacy, risk management and regulatory objectives.

• Assists in the development and maintenance of ITG Data Privacy Guidelines.

• Monitors and reports on data privacy and risk performance, tracks adherence to requirements and policies along with related findings and resolutions and identifies areas for enhancement.

• Provides timely support, updates, and escalations as needed.

ITG Data Privacy Compliance Support

• Validates, consolidates, and submits ITG data privacy deliverables (e.g., Data Processing System (DPS) inventory, Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) submissions/attestations, privacy supplement inventory) to the DPO.

• Acts as ITG's overall Assistant Compliance Officer for Privacy (COP), which covers but is not limited to the following:

o Managing inquiries related to data privacy requirements

o Assisting the ITG COP in coordinating with concerned units or personnel to validate privacy breaches for DPO reporting and manage post-incident follow-up actions as appropriate.

o Working with the ITG COP in collaborating with the DPO to create and customize data privacy awareness for ITG.

Project Management

• Manages assigned projects and monitors the timely completion of deliverables.

• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of 4 years Bachelor Degree, preferably in IT, MIS, BA or IE
• Preferably with at least 5 years of experience in the IT industry, data privacy, risk management, compliance, or information security.
