Job Description

The Client Security Officer (Information Security Officer) role is a great way to make a difference. You will report directly to the Business Unit Manager located in the U.S. and represent the client's security needs You will do this by reviewing security documents/questionnaires and ensuring our organization is meeting, or exceeding, their security requirements. If you are detail oriented, someone who enjoys working with clients and understands the balance between implementing a secure solution while ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness, then you have found the role for you! You will have a Systems Security Team supporting you to help implement and adhere to the client's security needs.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review client contracts and ensures the organization's compliance to those documents
  • Document the security workflow, system changes and protocols
  • Designs and plans out internal audits, risk and impact assessments
  • Communicates risks, analyzes gaps, and reports any violations to both internal policies or guidelines, and relevant laws and regulations directly to the Business Unit Manager
  • Facilitates external attestations from third-party auditor
  • Assist in regulatory compliance efforts
  • Assist in data privacy compliance efforts
  • Answer security questionnaires from existing and potential clients.
  • Must have great understanding of the company's Information System: applications, infrastructure, and security
  • Works on special security projects and other tasks as assigned by the Business Unit Manager or General Manager, Philippines.
  • Ensure overall data security: confidentiality, integrity, and availability

 

Qualifications (Skills and Experience):

  • Knowledgeable, skilled, and/or experienced in the following elements: ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, DPA, ISAE 3402, SSAE 16 – are a plus but not required
  • Familiar with technical writing
  • Amenable to a flexible schedule to adjust to changing conditions and priorities
  • Can communicate clearly and effectively
  • Positive attitude
