Job Summary
We are seeking an experiencedIndustrial Engineerwith a strong background infood or cosmetics manufacturingto analyze, optimize, and stabilize our production processes. This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, reducing waste, improving product quality, and ensuring processes are robust, compliant, and scalable. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and comfortable working directly on the shop floor to implement sustainable improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and root causes of quality or productivity issues
- Design, implement, and standardize improved processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve consistency
- ApplyLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Develop and maintainstandard operating procedures (SOPs)and work instructions
- Improve line balancing, layout, material flow, and labor utilization
- Monitor and analyze KPIs such as OEE, yield, scrap, downtime, and cycle time
- Lead or supportprocess validation, trials, and scale-up activities
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and Supply Chain teams
- Ensure processes comply withGMP, food safety, cosmetic regulations, and quality standards
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Train operators and supervisors on new or improved processes
- Support automation, equipment selection, and process optimization projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree inIndustrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experiencein a manufacturing environment (food, beverage, cosmetics, or FMCG preferred)
- Strong understanding ofmanufacturing processes, production systems, and process optimization
- Experience withLean tools(VSM, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, SPC)
- Familiarity withGMP, HACCP, ISO, or similar regulatory frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work hands-on in a production environment
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
