Industrial Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join REFINETTE COSMETIC MANUFACTURING CORPORATION in Guiguinto, Bulacan. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing operations and enhancing production efficiency across our manufacturing facilities. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes, and ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of quality and cost-effectiveness. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional cosmetic products whilst maintaining operational excellence and profitability.

Key responsibilities

1. Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
2. Design and implement process optimization strategies to increase productivity and reduce waste
3. Conduct time and motion studies to establish performance benchmarks and standard operating procedures
4. Develop and maintain production scheduling systems to ensure efficient resource allocation
5. Collaborate with production teams to implement new processes and technologies
6. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on manufacturing efficiency
7. Lead root cause analysis investigations to address production bottlenecks and quality issues
8. Design layouts and optimize facility utilization to enhance workflow and safety
9. Support capacity planning and capital equipment evaluation decisions
10. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout manufacturing operations

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline
2. Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations
3. Proven experience in process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies
4. Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools
5. Experience with manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems and production planning software
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across all levels of the organization
8. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards is advantageous
